IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician School – Salem, NH
Salem, NH – Four members of the Soil-Away team just completed IICRC water damage restoration technician training courses. Soil-Away attendees consisted of restoration technicians and management staff. For the technicians, this was their first experience in a water restoration course. “The classes really helped supplement the in-house training that Soil-Away provides,” explained one technician. “This was a great chance to expand my technical understanding of what we deal with on a daily basis when it comes to cleaning up water damage.”
The water mitigation course is “designed to provide basic education…in the science and practice of water damage restoration.” The goal is to have students “prepared to perform and document typical residential or light commercial water-damage restoration projects from start to finish” (IICRC).
Soil-Away veterans also attended the courses. “Soil-Away’s philosophy emphasizes quality service. Continuous training is a big part of executing this goal,” stated Office Manager- Leslie Webb. “It is awesome Soil-Away invests so much in employee training. We are conditioned to be students of the restoration industry. Going to IICRC courses help us stay sharp and up-to-date with many aspects of the water damage restoration industry.”
