Soil-Away Participates in Manchester’s
‘One Day of Community’ to Support Inner City Youth
Hooksett, NH – Each summer as the kids begin thinking about heading back to school, Manchester Christian Church partners with local businesses in their annual ‘One Day of Community’ event. Soil-Away was excited to be sponsoring the event again this year, while also sending a team of volunteers to man the Soil-Away tent and help where needed throughout the day.
The torrential rain in the morning did not keep the crowds away. The event was a success with sponsors handing out thousands of backpacks filled with supplies. Volunteers handed out over 4,000 bags of back to school items to the local kids in attendance. The kids also enjoyed free food, carnival events and prizes.
Soil-Away COO, Josh Solloway, was in attendance that day, “This is one of our favorite events of the year. It gives us the opportunity to give back to our local community. We look forward to working with Manchester Christian Church for many years to come, ensuring that this event is a success.”
