Water Damage Cleanup for Habitat for Humanity- Nashua, NH
Soil-Away recently performed a large water damage cleanup project with Habitat for Humanity- Nashua, NH Chapter. Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit which, “works in partnership with local people and businesses to assist people in need by building and renovating houses. We help create simple, decent houses to foster communities in which people can live and grow.”
The organization is currently working on a Nashua home which was donated to them. Prior to renovations, the property sustained serious water damage from a broken pipe. They called upon Soil-Away to help.
Soil-Away water damage restoration crews worked for days to help the non-profit. They removed non-salvageable building materials such as sheetrock, insulation, and wood flooring. They cleaned the structure, treated with anti-microbial agents, and dried the water damaged areas. Renovations can now proceed in a safe environment. All labor services were donated.
This is the second major project Soil-Away has done for Habitat for Humanity. In 2012, Soil-Away served the Manchester, NH chapter on their Hosley Street project. This house sustained a fire and needed soot damage cleanup and smoke odor removal. Through dry-ice blasting, encapsulation, and other remediation procedures Soil-Away is eliminated the pungent smoke odor and damage throughout the structure.
“Habitat for Humanity is a great organization,” states Jack Solloway, the founder of Soil-Away. “We love to utilize our resources and expertise to serve the community.”
